The Testing Center provides testing services to support the academic 和 professional goals of students 和 the community. 我们坚持 Professional St和ards 和 Guidelines set by the National College Testing Association (NCTA). Our center houses seven private testing rooms 和 a computer lab with ten desktop computers equipped with speakers 和 webcams - 看到里面!

The Writing 放置 should be taken by any student who does not have a prior writing credit (SAT/ACT, 转移信用, 等.). The 大学成功数学 放置 is for students in clsp之间 和 高地 programs who are not enrolled in a math heavy 学位 program. The 亚历克斯PPL数学 放置 is for students in LCME programs who need to take higher level math courses up to Calculus.

Only the 亚历克斯PPL数学 can be taken online. The College Success exams are administered in person. For security reasons, a Montana Tech email is required to register for an ALEKS PPL exam.

There is a one-time $25 testing fee to be paid on the day of the test or over the phone at 406-496-4250.

规则 & 程序

• Testers must stow all of their personal belongings 和 only bring permitted materials into the testing area. 
• Electronic devices are not permitted unless permission is given by the proctor or instructor.
• Testers must bring a photo ID to take an exam.
• Montana Tech has a zero-tolerance policy for academic dishonesty, 和 all testers must abide by our 行为准则.
• Parents 和 guardians are encouraged to explore our unique campus while their student tests. Testers may not leave their children unattended in the Testing Center. 
• Scratch paper must be discarded before exiting the Testing Center.

• The Testing Center is not liable for any lost or stolen items.
